🍓 Strawberry & Nutella Cupcakes (Easy Recipe)

🧁 Ingredients

For the cupcakes:

1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour

1 cup (200g) sugar

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ cup (115g) butter, softened

2 large eggs

½ cup (120ml) milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

For the filling:

Nutella (about 1 tsp per cupcake)

For the frosting (optional but delicious):

1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream

3 tbsp powdered sugar

3 tbsp Nutella

Fresh strawberries for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the cupcake batter
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  3. Line a cupcake tray with paper liners.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk, mixing slowly.
  8. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently with a spoon.
  9. Bake
  10. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter.
  11. Add 1 teaspoon of Nutella in the center.
  12. Cover with more batter (about ¾ full).
  13. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until a toothpick inserted at the edge comes out clean.
  14. Let them cool completely.
  15. Make the frosting (optional)
  16. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  17. Add Nutella and powdered sugar; whip again until fluffy.
  18. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
  19. Decorate

Add a fresh strawberry on top.

Drizzle a little melted Nutella (optional).
