Ingredients
  

  • * 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • * 200 g fresh mozzarella balls or sliced mozzarella
  • * 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • * 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • * 1 tbsp balsamic glaze optional
  • * Salt to taste
  • * Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Wash and prepare the cherry tomatoes, then cut them in half.
  2. Drain mozzarella and cut into bite-sized pieces if needed.
  3. In a large bowl or serving plate, combine tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
  4. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Add a light drizzle of balsamic glaze if desired.
  7. Gently toss or arrange beautifully on a serving plate.
  8. Serve immediately for the freshest flavor.

Notes

* Use ripe, sweet cherry tomatoes for the best taste.
* Fresh mozzarella (not low-moisture) gives a creamier texture.
* Best served fresh—do not refrigerate after assembling.
